Sheep feeding under the gondola path. A 1930's steam ship being restored by volunteers. We took a harbour tour to see the Hector Dolphins - smallest in the world. Our ship from a small boat! Hills surrounding the harbour. Two Hector Dolp[ins at play. The pod of about 30 dolphins really put on a show for about 30 minutes. These dolphins are about 4 feet in length with light grey bodies and dark grey fins and tail. This one popped up from under the boat. Trio synch swimming! Great jump. Two at once - couldn't believe I got the shot! Entrance to the harbour which is a volcano crater - which is irregular shaped biut very large! Let me lead you home!
