Kasubi Tombs in Kampala
Kasubi Tombs site is an active religious place in the Buganda Kingdom.
The entrance to the site is a beautifully built gatehouse called Bujjabukula
Gig and I did not enter.

Fire Place is in main courtyard which has houses built for the widows of the Kabakas - some who are still here.
Notice shoes? Can't enter with them on.
Muzibu Azaala was built in 1882, is 31 meters in diameter and 7.5 meters high.
Tall poles support the roof.
Ceiling - 7.5 meters high.
Four Kabakas (KINGS) are buried at Kasubi tombs: Muteesa I (1835-1884); Basamula Mwanga II (1867-1903); Daudi Chwa II (1896-1939); Fredrick Walugembe Muteesa II (1924-1969)
This is where the four are entombed.
