Casablanca

The ladies of the harem were not allowed out. This was their "window to the world". All the shops for a single product are grouped together. Beautiful but too heavy to carry home. A door step for a home. This is a small olive market. There are 28 million olive trees in Morocco and they are planting more. Black, green, and red olives. Shopping for olives Olives are sold different ways: fresh, bottled, herbed... I just like the image of the ladder at the end with arch in front. Casablanca is on the Atlantic Ocean. We had a refreshment break and enjoyed the sea breezes. McDonalds are everywhere! More of the upper scale home.
