Animals We Saw in Scotland

It was lambing season... We were so enthralled with the lambs. She is inquistive. BIG horns See the cute lamb! Grose - national bird of Scotland. Lambs a playing And more lambs Big horns on a big sheep. It was really cold so these sheep were cuddling up to the hay rolls. We were told it was rare to see this breed. Notice the down angled horn - right one is missing. So cold even the horses have blankets What do you want? Graze, graze, graze - Highland Cows. There fur is very long to keep them warm. They don't have as much fat as other breeds making them leaner. I climbed a muddy track to get close to take these pictures. I think the cow is saying Buzz off!
