Susan Butcher and her husband Dave Monson own and operate Trailbreaker Kennel.
Susan Butcher has won the 1,100 mile Iditarod Dog Sled Race from Anchorage to Nome four times. She led the only climbing party to conquer Mt. McKinley (20,320 ft) by dog sled.
She hooks up the dogs to a four wheeler to give them a work out.

FIsh wheel for salmon fishing. Salmon are scooped up in wheel, hit the trough, and are dropped into a box.
The fish are retrieved from the box, cleaned, de-headed, and split nearly to end of tail. They are hung on the drying rack for short period of time and moved to the smoking shed.

The cabins were built with available resources - trees and sod. Both trees and sod insulated the cabin.
